600 UK have further expanded their UK and European sales operation by appointing two highly experienced team members to become primary sales contacts for Colchester and Harrison training lathes and Pratt Burnerd International (PBI) workholding divisions.

The purchase of a Harrison Alpha 1400XS manual/CNC lathe from 600 UK has brought major improvements in speed, product quality and cost-effectiveness to AJ Glew Ltd, one of the UK’s leading restorers of vintage Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars.

600 UK took a record number of enquiries at this year’s MACH 2014, doubling those registered from the previous show two years ago. Significantly up was the number of orders for new machines and components received on the stand.

Pratt Burnerd International exhibited for the first time at MACH 2014, the new Gripfast Combination Power Chuck, which is a unique innovation that provides CNC lathe customers with a chuck, a collet chuck and a mandrel chuck, all in one unit.

600 UK will have a significant presence on four separate stands at MACH 2014. Alongside fellow 600 Group company Electrox, this will total over 150 square metres at the Birmingham NEC show from 7 to 11 April 2014.
