With three individual stands highlighting the launch of nine new products from Colchester, Harrison, Pratt Burnerd International and Clausing, the exhibition exceeded all expectations.
Colchester introduced the new ultra-heavyweight Colchester Magnum centre lathe alongside the redesigned Colchester Triumph centre lathe. The world’s best selling training centre lathe, the Colchester Student, was the main highlight in the education zone.
Harrison launched the flatbed Harrison Alpha XC combination CNC lathe with full 3-axis capability and introduced the totally new Harrison EziTurn electronic lathe. The unique EziTurn bridges the step up in skill levels required between manual and CNC turning applications as now demanded by the education and training markets.
Among the many new products from Pratt Burnerd International was the innovative 5-jaw version of the increasingly successful Gripfast combination power chuck, designed specifically for handling delicate components. PBI also introduced to the UK market the new Gripsafe chuck force measurement gripmeter, which meets the essential health and safety needs of lathe operators head on. Under both static and dynamic conditions the Gripsafe provides an accurate, reliable and permanently recorded measure of the gripping forces being applied by a chuck.
MACH 2016 also signified the European launch of the well established, USA based, Clausing Precision Machine Tools brand, which completed 600 UK’s MACH 2016 lineup. Machines exhibited included a new range of milling, drilling, sawing, grinding and large swing turning machines, which created significant interest from industrial and education customers alike.
Howard Bamforth, 600 UK sales director said “The launch of all of these new products at the MACH exhibition is of huge significance to us at 600 UK. Our design and manufacturing teams in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire have been working hard to deliver new and innovative products that our customers have been demanding and we are certainly doing that.”
“The level of interest that we generated at MACH has justified our continued heavy investment in product development. However, if anyone missed us at the MACH show, customers are more than welcome to view any of these impressive products at our Heckmondwike factory at any time, just call us on 01924 415000, to arrange an appointment.”
